About the event
Dr. Laura Tsai is a Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and a Visiting Scholar at New York University School of Social Work. She is a social work researcher and practitioner with over fifteen years of experience pertaining to human trafficking and gender-based violence. As a mixed methods researcher, she integrates participatory, qualitative, and quantitative approaches in her research. Her research primarily focuses on the design, evaluation, and dissemination of economic empowerment and reintegration support interventions for survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence in Southeast and South Asia.
